Salafist Call: Statement on the Israeli Aggression
against Gaza
All praise is due to
Allah, and may peace and mercy be upon His Messenger!
Israel is still
practicing its recurrent smugness, coercion and aggression against the unarmed
Palestinian people under the shadow of the eerie silence of global systems!
In this regard, the
Salafist Call esteems the important step by all Palestinian resistance groups
in their collaboration, or rather unification under one central leadership to
confront the Zionist army. There is no doubt that defending religion, land and
honor is one of the most noble senses of Jihad about which Allah (SWT) said,
"O you who have believed, shall I guide you to a transaction that will save
you from a painful punishment? [It is that] you believe in Allah and His
Messenger and strive in the cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives.
That is best for you, if you should know" (61:10-11), and which is
considered by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as the pinnacle of Islam.
Enemies have
endeavored to get the term "Jihad" out of Muslims' lexicons, taking
advantage of the calamities of killing and pandemonium by some people killing
people of their own religion or people of other religions who have been
promised security and peace! Yet Quran and Sunnah have ever been lasted by the
preservation of All (SWT), and they in turn preserve the religion of the Ummah
(Muslim Nation), including the command to do Jihad in parallel with the command
to respect conventions, fulfil Amanat (anything they have been entrusted) and
keep peace with whoever keeps it with Muslims, "Allah
does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do
not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting
justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly." (Quran;
60:8).
There is no doubt
that the recurrent aggressions by the Zionist enemy against our Palestinian
brethren is an aggression against the whole Arab and Islamic Ummah; therefore,
all Arab and Islamic countries have to take all possible measures to counter
this aggression by at least stopping all precursors which surfaced recently
such as the preparation by some Arab countries to build normal relationships
with Israel!
Even the countries which have already had conventions with Israel should keep
the popular objection to all attempts of normalization with the Zionist enemy,
and take advantage of all instruments of pressure they have in forcing Israel
to retreat from its aggression.
We pray that Allah
(SWT) may accept the Muslim victims as martyrs, heal the wounded, help our
Palestinian brethren against His and their enemy and save the vulnerable
Muslims all over the world, for indeed He is sufficient and best custodian for us.
